CR Preschool Program

The CR preschool program is run through the Exploring Childhood classes at River. High school students earn occupational ed credits while gaining valuable hands-on experience working with young children ages 3-5.

Preschool runs October-June observing all school holidays and vacations. Hours are 9:30 to 11:20 AM Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. During this time period preschoolers have two art projects, circle time, snack, one-on-one reading, free time and/or large muscle activity. All activities are taught by the high school student "teachers" under direct supervision of a teacher.
