Columbia River Television participates in SkillsUSA; a student based leadership organization. SkillsUSA helps to prepare students to be high performance workers. It provides experiences for students in leadership, citizenship and character development through conference and skills competition attendance. It builds and reinforces self-confidence and work attitudes; it emphasizes total quality at work, high ethical standards, superior work skills, life-long education and pride in the dignity of work. Membership is optional for CRTV students, however program content is integrated into the video production curriculum as daily professional standards.
