On Nov. 23, for the second time in four years, the Columbia River High School girls soccer team clinched the 2A championship, beating Hockinson for the state title.
Team members are Allison Countryman, junior; Kelsey Jones, senior; Lucia Ianello, junior; Reagan Griffith, junior; Jissel Valencia-Mendez, junior; Kyla Castro, senior; Yaneisy Rodriguez, senior; Ella Osborne, sophomore; Julia Cash, senior; Amelie Miller, freshman; Samantha Myers, junior; Olivia Colgate, senior; Shalece Easley, senior; Grace Russell, junior; Anna Iniguez, sophomore; Logann Dukes, freshman; Ava Bell, junior; Andie Buckley, freshman; Gracia Larson, sophomore; Sydney Johnson, sophomore; and Lauren Gunderson, sophomore.
Junior varsity team members called up to the varsity team include Hannah Ziebell, Madeline Ayers, Alia Rust and Allison Underland.
Team managers include Sydney Flores-Tucker, Erin Marble, Payton Gerlack, Josie Benson, Ella Steinke, Cameron Givvines and Allison Nguyen.
Assistant coaches are Hannah Millhollen, Geneva Perez, Matt Newman and Ryan Callahan. Filomon Afenegus is the head coach.
