The SAT School Day exam is coming up soon – Wednesday, March 24, 2021.

 

All 11th grade students have been registered for the exam, free of charge. If you do not plan on taking the exam, please let us know right away, so we can make sure to take you off our list. Please read through our list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) below – this will provide useful and important information about the SAT School Day.

 

When is the SAT School Day? – Wednesday, March 24, 2021

What time do I need to arrive at school? – Check in will start at 7:10 am

Where do I need to go to Check In? – Check in stations will be in the lower commons. Students will enter through the main entrance just like a regular school day.

How long is the exam? When will it be over? – The SAT will take just over 4 hours. We will need time before and after the test to complete student information. The exam session should end around 12:30 pm.

What should I bring with me on exam day? Two No. 2 pencils (we will have extras if needed), an approved calculator (recommended –each room will have basic function calculators available), a water bottle and/or snack for break time (optional).

What should I NOT bring on exam day? Electronic devices such as cell phones, iPods, iPad, tablet, etc. (Students will be able to leave electronic devices in a secured location in the testing room – must be off), highlighters or colored pencils, dictionaries or other books.

Where will I take the exam? – Students will test in groups of 15 in classrooms. Students will be assigned to a testing location when they arrive on Wednesday.

Classrooms will be set up to ensure a minimum of 6 feet distance between each student.

As part of the the test session, students will be asked to complete several Optional questions. This will include where to send your Four Free score reports. If you are planning on sending score reports to colleges, universities, or other organizations, we recommend you look over the Student Answer Sheet Instructions and locate the school/organization codes. All students will be given a printed copy of the answer sheet instructions on exam day.
