Applications for CR Varsity Academic Awards are now available in the Career Center and on the CR Website. Varsity Academic Letters are intended to honor students who have consistently shown a high regard for academics, citizenship and involvement in our school community. You may earn a Varsity Academic Letter even if you have already lettered in some other capacity.
Students must apply for this award and meet the following criteria:
· Be a current junior or senior at Columbia River High School
· Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher based on at least 4 semesters of high school courses (the most recent 2 semesters of coursework must be from CRHS)
· Participated in an ASB recognized club or organization for at least one semester or an athletic activity for one season.
· Have no truancies, discipline referrals, or violation of VPS’s Drug and Alcohol policies.
· Have a current ASB card.
Applications are due in the Career Center by Monday, November 5, 2018.
A short recognition ceremony will be held the morning of November 14, here at CR.
