Each Friday for the month of October, we are hosting virtual events for you to get your financial aid questions answered! We will cover everything from FAFSA to WASFA, submitting your application to what happens next, and provide opportunities for you to get your specific questions answered. Friday, October 2nd:
Come drive-thru River’s main parking lot to pick up your college planning, apprenticeship, and military materials! Financial aid information will be included as well. Then, go home and start your financial aid application! Head to this website for FAFSA and this website for WASFA to get started. No need to pre-register to come to our drive-thru!
Friday, October 9th @ 2 PM:
Join us for a presentation from Kurt Reeser, our CollegeBound Regional Officer, to learn more about the FAFSA/WAFSA, paying for college, and how to access CollegeBound grants. Pre-register for this event here.
Friday, October 16th @ 2 PM:
This Friday is a chance to get individual support and to take time to fill out your financial aid application during our meeting! We will have staff available to answer all of your questions — from figuring out how to enter correct financial information, to ensuring that you are using the right parent’s income.
