Spring Sport Parents,
We couldn’t ask for better weather so far! I hope that it continues for the remainder of the spring sports season.
I am emailing today about everyone’s favorite topic: masks and social distancing. Cowlitz County was moved back to Phase 2, and Clark County COVID numbers have increased over the last two weeks. Athletic Directors across the league have been told to enforce mask wearing and social distancing at all athletic events. We were instructed to either remove spectators who refuse to wear a mask or stop the game until a mask is put on.
I have heard about very few issues with River spectators, so please keep up the good work! I wanted to give you a heads up about what we were directed to do. Please wear masks at all times, regardless of where you are, and social distance from other groups.
