At the STEM week for Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School, we were able to achieve the ultimate goal of this week: foster an interest of the sciences within the younger children. Some of the finer points of the science experiments were far too complicated for elementary school children to understand in just a few short days. However, full understanding was not the goal of this week. The ultimate goal of this week was to show young children how fun, exciting and interesting science can be.”
