Become a Caddie at Royal Oaks Country Club and invest in your future!
- Caddie candidates must visit the WGAESF website (https://wgaesf.org/), review the materials, pass the Caddie Exam, and submit an application prior to the start of training on March 13th.
- The application is found on the website or can be accessed by the QR Code in this flyer.
- Orientation for parents and candidates March 5, 2023 at 1:30 pm at Royal Oaks Country Club.
- Caddie training will start on March 13th with two more sessions, one on March 20th and another on March 27th. Training sessions will be conducted at Royal Oaks.
The program is based around the Evans Scholarship. Through the Western Golf Association, the Evans Scholars Foundation awards full tuition and housing scholarships to deserving caddies with limited financial means. The Evans Scholars Foundation is currently supporting 1,100 promising young men and women at 22 leading universities across the country including the University of Washington and the University of Oregon.
To be eligible to apply for an Evans Scholarship for caddies, candidates must meet the following requirements: Strong caddie record, excellent academics, demonstrated financial need and outstanding character.
