Each year, U.S. News and World Report compiles a list of leading high schools. Rankings are based on graduation rates, scores on Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate exams and performance on state tests in math and reading. Several VPS schools were featured on the publication’s 2022 list:

  • Columbia River High School: 95th in Washington rankings and 5,170th nationally
  • Skyview High School: 100th in Washington rankings and 5,435th nationally
  • Vancouver iTech Preparatory: 70th in Washington rankings and 3,976th nationally
  • Vancouver School of Arts and Academics: 10th in Washington rankings and 751st nationally

Fort Vancouver High School Center for International Studies, Hudson’s Bay High School, Vancouver Flex Academy (formerly Lewis and Clark High School) and Vancouver Virtual Learning Academy are among the top 350 high schools in Washington state. Not all VPS schools were evaluated for ranking.
