Spring testing continues tomorrow and we want to remind you of the upcoming schedule for state assessments.
We will be on a 2 hour testing schedule on the following dates: April 21 (Tues), April 22 (Wed), and April 23 (Th). Here is a copy of that schedule. Students who are testing are expected to be here by the 8:30am warning bell in order to complete their required testing. See below for which tests are on what days, and what grade levels are expected to participate. Although the building will be open for any students arriving at the normal start time (8:35am), students who are not testing are not expected to be at school until 10:30a.m. Busses will run on their normal schedule. Students who do arrive before 10:30am and are not testing will be expected to stay in the Lower Commons.
April 21 & April 22: SBA ELA (all 10th graders, notified 11th and 12th graders)
April 23: WCAS – Science (all 11th graders)
Taking these tests are required, AND support students in meeting their graduation pathway requirement, which appears on a student’s transcript and is a requirement for graduation. If a student who is required to test misses one of these days, they will be required to participate in a makeup on an alternate date.
