Columbia River High School celebrates a significant milestone this month – its 60th Anniversary! The celebration is even more meaningful because it coincides with the opening of the new “500” and “800” wings, a construction project that has been underway for a few years.
The CRHS building improvements were funded by the 2017 bond creating new spaces to accommodate additional students and offering improved science laboratories supporting student work in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. In September 2022, the school dedicated the John O’Rourke Stadium, a modern facility that serves as an access point for everyone in the community, also supported by the bond
To celebrate the anniversary and the completion of the building improvement projects, the school invites the community to an open house and tour of the new classroom, laboratories, and student spaces.
