During the month of March, Columbia River students go through the process of Forecasting for classes for the 2024-25 school year.
During Forecasting, students request which classes they would like to take based on student interest, teacher recommendations, and graduation requirements. Students will use paper forcasting sheets to enter their selections into Synergy. Students can (and should) keep a copy of their paper forecasting sheet.
We strongly encourage students and families to discuss and review class requests in the spring. Columbia River uses student class requests to build the 2024-25 school schedule. We cannot honor class request changes in the fall (start of 2024-25 school year).
Students are able to participate in our annual Curriculum Fair on Friday, March 8, 2024. This gives students an opportunity to visit 3 presentation sessions about courses they may be interested in.
