One of the most popular questions for the start of school is “when is my lunch?”
Columbia River has two lunches, we call them First Lunch and Second Lunch. A student’s lunch time is determined by their 4th period class. We break 4th period up into two groups, 4A and 4B.
If a student has a 4th period class that is 4A: They go to 4th period class first, then go to Second Lunch
If a student has a 4th period class that is 4B: They go to First Lunch, then go to 4th period class.
One way to remember this is: If you have 4A, you have lunch After your class. If you have 4B, you have lunch Before your class.

As a reminder, Juniors and Seniors (11th and 12th grade) may leave campus at Lunch time, only if they have a completed Off Campus Pass.
