The Washington State School Retirees’ Association (WSSRA) invites high school seniors to apply for the Robert J. Handy and WSSR Foundation scholarships.

Eligibility:

• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Intend on having a career in the “field of education”
• Must be on approved form, with directions followed precisely
• Official transcripts
• Three letters of recommendation
• Resume

Eight (8) WSSR – Foundation Scholarships ($2,500 each) and sixteen (16) Robert J. Handy Scholarships ($900 each for up to four years) will be awarded to students whose degree would be in one of these areas: teacher, counselor, speech therapist, occupational therapist, or psychologist.
